Jamie Dougherty Class

I was so lucky to be able to take this class at the Inked Stamper Scrapbook Store. Jamie is such a talented, amazing lady! She was so nice and humble about everything. I would for sure take another one of her classes because not only is she super nice she is also a wonderful artist! This is what we got to make

If you are ever able to get in on one of her classes i highly recommend it!!

I'm also taking her online class Blooming Through the seasons where every three months you get instructions on how to make three different Bloom Girls. This one here is month one.

This is month three, i have not done month two yet because i actually go every month to the Inked Stamper and we all do it togther and i was not able to make it to the second month class meet up. Let's hope i can get it done soon lol!
Again, these classes are amazing. Jamie makes it super easy to follow her instructions and she gives you a template in case you don't want to draw the girls, which makes it super easy.

Dina Wakley classes

These are what i made at the Dina Wakley classes i was lucky enough to attend at the Inked Stamper Scrapbook Store. This woman is so talented it boggles the mind!

This one was my third attempt at drawing a face in the class Facing The Facts. This class taught me so much and has inspired me to continue to try to draw faces and get better at it.

This was my fourth attempt at the class.

These three were done in the class Beyond The Ink Pad. Another very technique heavy class. Learned so much!

These three pages were done in the class Color Wow, which was by far the best class. Taught me so much about colors and how they work and how to get them to work for you. i highly recommend this class to everyone!!

Mixed media/ art journal

Hello!! here are a few of the pages i have done recently. hope you enjoy!

This Steampunk Prima girl canvas was the first class i taught at the Inked Stamper. Had so much making this and then getting to teach how it was made!

This was my second class at the Inked Stamper Scrapbook store. i used Jamie Dougherty's Bloom girl stamp and Dyan Reavly's leaf stencil and flower stamps. I also used Faber Castell's water color pencils, which i LOVE!!

Another one of Jamie Dougherty's Bloom Girl Stamps and water color pencils.

On this one i used black gesso, white gesso, Inka Gold, Stampotique stamps, Dyan Reavly's stamps, and Heartfelt Creations stamps.

With this one i used Tim Holtz paints, CTMH ink pads, Faber Castell water pencils for the birds, Dyan Reavly's stamps, Dina Wakely stamps and washi tape

Getting back to it

So it's been a year since my last post lol! i'm going to try to get back into this blogging thing and see where it takes me. In the last year i know i have grown ALOT as far as my art goes so i'm going to do a big influx of all the things i've been doing lately. Hope you all enjoy them!
I made this using pan pastels, stencils and modeling paste, all on a 11x14 canvas.

I made these canvases using Prima girls, matt medium, paper, Prima's chalk inks and Lindy's Stamp Gang mists on the flowers.

A fun page i did using some MME paper

Had alot fun making this two page LO with Dylusions sprays and spellbinders dies.

Used modeling paste to do the brick back round, misted the title and backround.

Used the gorgeous 75 cents line from Kaiser Kraft for this one. i just love this paper line!!

This paper line is another fav from CTMH

Another MME paper line. I did this one for Canadian scrapbook magazine's sketchy challenge

Surprise surprise, another MME line lol!!

i plan on doing another post with all my favorite mixed media projects on it. Hope you enjoyed seeing some of my scrapbook pages!

Organizing your space

This week on scrapbook steals they asked us to show pictures on how we organize our things. here's a few pic's on what i do.
i have a thing for mists and i found that Swivel Store's work great for keeping them nice and organized.

my Clip It Up works great for my Kiwi Lane Templates and also my sizzix dies.

My uncle made me this to store my washi tapes, but i think i may need another lol!

You can never go wrong with a Ribbon Carousal.

These containers were bought from Close To My Heart and hold their stamps as well as Stampin Up stamps. i love these because they hold SO many stamps and i can take them to crops.

Another Dylusion Journal Page

Here is another Journal page i did. i used Dylusion sprays for the backround, gelato's on the bottom, Tim Holtz Distress paint for the sliver backround stamps and the circles around the page, black gesso for the black girl image, Stampin Up markers to color in the girl stamp and black archival ink for all the stamping. i just can't say enough about the Dylusions journal!! too much fun!

Dylusion's Journal

This entry is for the Paper Girls Challenge, they told us to doodle. i have never 'doodled' on a scrapbook page before and to be completely honest it scared the bejesus out of me lol! i wasn't even going to do this challenge to be perfectly honest but then i bought a Dylusion binder. i ADORE my Dylusion's binder, it let's me scrapbook in a way i would never have thought possible. it let's me do what ever i feel like doing when ever i feel like doing it. I'm more than a little anal when it comes to my scrapbooking, i do everything in chronological order as far as my pictures go but with the journal i can do any picture i want, no matter when it was taken. i'm also trying out a TON of new techniques with this baby. i had never used oil pastels before but i did on this page and i love them!! SO fun to work with and doodle with. ok, enough about the journal, here is my page
